About Infinite Ascent
Climbing games have become very popular in recent years since they pose a simple but still daunting challenge.
While this game may not have you climbing in the traditional sense, you are still going up and trying to reach high points.
This is done with planned movements and careful jumps, but the longer you take then the more chances you have to make mistakes and plummet.
This is why you need to pay attention to your surroundings and change your view so that you know exactly where you're going.
You're ascending and there may not be an end, but that's up to you to decide.
Controls

The goal is to climb as high as possible before the tower resets as indicated in the center of the screen.
The character can survive long falls but contact with dangerous objects such as glowing red structures will kill them and force you back to the bottom While climbing, you can also find chests that will give you gems upon opening them.
You can also play the Shooty Shooty challenge which is a gauntlet where you must aim with the cursor, shoot with the Left Mouse Button, and avoid contact with enemies.
Whenever you begin, you'll start at the very bottom of the tower in a round base.
When you start climbing, you'll encounter things like platforms, beams, and ladders.
The higher you climb, the more chance you have to earn greater rewards.
There are no enemies to stop you, but areas will get thinner with more gaps being introduced between platforms.
In Shooty Shooty, enemies are flying skulls that will move around the arena and destroy you on contact forcing you to reset your run.
Destroying skulls nets you drop which can be used to upgrade your shooter so that you can last longer and hopefully make it to the evil heart to destroy it.
Tips and Tricks
This may or may not be surprising, but the key element you need to keep in mind is the camera.
The view won't always follow neatly behind the character which can mess up your perception of the environment.
Always take a moment to put the camera in an optimal position before you start jumping.
