This is one of the games that has you playing as the police to go after assailants.
The situations almost always include dangerous and armed criminals who are threatening the public.
This authorizes you to use whatever means to subdue them to protect the public and your fellow officers.
You still need to be careful about how you engage them so that you don't cause any unnecessary damage or end up putting anyone else at risk.

The goal is to respond to police calls and assignments to subdue the assailants involved.
Your health will be in the top left corner of the screen, and the mini-map will be in the top right.
If your health reaches zero, you'll be killed and must try the mission again.
Between missions, the main menu will allow you to pick out your car and weapons, with new ones available for purchase using the money you've earned.
After that, you can select the game mode and the available levels you've unlocked through completion.
When you pick a level, you'll be shown a scene of the situation and receive your orders to intervene.
You must reach the designated area in time and confront the assailants as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Enemies will have health bars appear when you get in firing range.
The mission will be complete when all the culprits have been subdued, and you can move on to the next one.
Tips and Tricks
You'll often need to alternate between walking and driving to reach locations and catch assailants quickly.
When on foot, ensure you have easy access to cover, or use your car if necessary.
When driving, it's better to maintain control over speed to stay on track with the target and keep them in range of your weapons.
