This game is all about mastering the kicking technique so that you can go for distance and accuracy.
Although the arch may seem like a pretty big target, the slightest change in the air can cause it to disappear far into the crowd without ever coming near to the arch.
You have all the power and knowledge so the quality of these kicks is all in your hands… Or more accurately, in your feet.
Tips and Tricks
The swiping can be a bit tricky, so it's best to take a few dry runs to get some practice kicks in to get a feel for the controls.
You should also take note of the wind and see if you can use it to your advantage since it can be quite powerful.
How to Play
Football Kickoff is a 3D sports game about kicking a football using swiping produced by using the mouse.
By clicking and holding the Left Mouse Button on the football, drag it to swipe and kick the ball in that direction.
The goal is to score as many points as you can by kicking the football through the arch.
The game places you behind the ball and facing the arch some ways away.
By swiping up, you can kick the ball with power based on how much you swipe.
The closer to the center of the defined arch space that you get, the higher your score.
As long as you get the ball through the area defined by the two poles on either side of the arch (even if it soars high above), it will count as a good kick.
The main obstacle you'll need to worry about is the wind which can blow the ball to the left or the right.
After a few kicks from one angle, you and the ball will be placed at a different angle to the arch which will change your perspective.
If you kick the ball and it doesn't pass through the acceptable space, the ball will be lost.
How many balls you have is indicated by the hearts at the top of the screen.
Once all your hearts are gone, it will be game over and you'll need to restart.
