About DTA 2 Maniac
The title only has one defined word; when you see it, you know what kind of experience is likely awaiting.
This game is about taking a character and leading them around to cause as much of a mess as possible.
Nothing is holding them back except their own well-being, so everything is on the table, and you can grab whatever you can reach.
Who knows what the motivation is? You just need to keep moving and destroying.
Of course, the city will try to stop you however it can, so you must be ready to fight back with everything you have.

The goal is to survive long enough to call down the heavy artillery and destroy the city.
Your health meter is in the bottom left corner, and your equipment is in the bottom right.
Your survival timer will be displayed at the top of the screen.
If your health runs out before the timer does, you'll lose.
The main menu allows you to select any characters you've unlocked with different stats.
Afterward, you can use your money to give them passive bonuses and equipment before they begin.
When ready, you'll be dropped into an area with structures and people.
From there, you can start destroying objects and attacking everyone.
You can also highjack vehicles to get around faster using the same movement controls.
The more damage you cause, the more coins you can collect and will earn after you finish your run.
A compass will guide you to essential points where you'll choose one of three rewards, like weapons or bonuses.
The more chaos you cause, the more ire you'll draw.
Armed individuals will start chasing and hunting you down, and you can run or fight.
If you survive until the timer runs out, you'll clear the area and can take on the next one.
Tips and Tricks
Since you should be focused on survival, you must keep moving.
You'll have large structures like buildings that will provide coverage so enemies will have trouble surrounding you.
Try to make it to the compass points quickly so you can get powered up early without too much resistance.
Vehicles can provide cover and escape in a pinch.
