Your units can move and fire as they take time to prepare and the enemy will be doing the same so that they can start bombarding you.
You can never sit idly and wait for the enemy to come otherwise you'll be neglecting your defense.
It's a very active competitive game where you and your enemy will likely be on different cycles.
Tips and Tricks
The key to victory is to be able to alternate between moving and attacking while making quick decisions.
Whenever a unit fires, you need to remember that it was revealed for a moment and then decide the best course of action on the next turn.
Keep your most powerful units on the move while the sturdier ones can be used to draw enemy fire and confirm enemy positions.
How to Play
BattleGrid online PvP tank battles is a 2D top-down competitive strategy game where you need to lead a group of tanks against an enemy group using the mouse.
To move units, move the cursor over to them, click the Left Mouse Button, and then click a space on your grid that you want them to move.
To attack, simply click a space on the opposing side.
Icons on the left side for abilities and more can be clicked to be bought and used.
Units will automatically reload and select for control indicated by an icon in the center of the screen.
Health will be displayed below each unit and it will be destroyed when it empties.
The goal is to eliminate all of the opposing units before the time at the top runs out.
If you lose all your units, you'll need to retry the battle.
When the battle begins, you'll have a group of three units and different units can be selected to change up your strategy.
Once you start, you can begin firing and moving whenever the icon indicates "Ready".
You're not taking turns as the enemy will attack and move whenever they're able to as well.
When you or an enemy fires, their position will be revealed briefly on the grid.
When you gain control of a unit, you can use them to move or attack, but not both.
Any abilities you've acquired will appear on the left for purchase and use.
While playing, money will appear on the field that you can collect by moving units over it.
This can be used for abilities and improvements.
You'll also get a choice of boosts between battles to aid you.
