When you're on the frontlines, there's a lot of pressure to last as long as you can so that the enemy doesn't penetrate your defenses.
This is a game where you're quite past the frontline and into enemy territory.
This shows that you've made good progress, but you're also in an unfortunate situation.
You're alone and the enemies have a better idea of the layout than you do.
This is where your recon skills can come into play so that you can make the battlefield that you want to fight.
However, the sooner the fight starts, the sooner you'll be spotted so be prepared.
Controls

The goal is to clear out all the enemies so that you can progress safely.
Your health will be displayed at the top center of the screen and if it hits zero, you'll need to restart the mission.
The number of hostiles remaining in the area will be tracked on the left side of the screen.
Completing missions will net you rewards and unlock more missions.
Before you begin, you can choose to outfit your soldier with a different primary weapon and grenades that will cost money which you can earn by completing missions.
You can then go to the mission select screen to choose your challenge.
When you start, you'll spawn into a relatively safe area and will be given the freedom to explore at your leisure.
Enemies will be patrolling and will start attacking once they detect you.
Eliminate all the soldiers to complete the mission.
Depending on your mission stats, you'll earn different rewards.
Additional bonuses will be given for headshots and for having most of your health.
Tips and Tricks
The biggest advantage you have over the enemies is the element of surprise.
When you laid in, pull out your map to get an idea of the area and mark the enemies' positions.
They rely mainly on sight than sound which can let you take them out one by one.
